Where is the tour located, and how do I get there?

The Outdoor Adventure takes place at our exclusive natural reserve situated in the heart of the Sierra Madre, roughly 6 miles south of Puerto Vallarta. To get there, you’ll take an exhilarating boat ride across the bay to the quaint fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan, transition onto one of our Unimogs to the base camp, and then take a mule ride to our destination.

The mule ride is easy and takes about 25 minutes to get you through the forest to the first zip line. You’ll receive full instructions at the beginning of the tour, but experience is not required. The mules go at an easy pace and make for a smooth ride.

Is the tour challenging?

Yes, this Puerto Vallarta Zipline Adventure requires a lot of physical activity. Participants should be in good physical shape and be able to walk uphill for 30 minutes and climb a 20-foot ladder.

Will I get dirty or wet?

Yes! You will be rappelling down waterfalls and you will probably get dirty or wet during the hike as part of the adventure.

What should I wear?

We recommend long shorts or pants, a T-shirt, and comfortable closed-toed shoes. Please bring a change of clothes and shoes to change into before returning to Vallarta. You can store your clothes in a locker at the base camp. Applying bug spray is highly recommended.

Can I bring my camera?

For safety reasons, we don’t allow cameras on the Puerto Vallarta zipline adventure tour. Our guests should be focused on their guides and safety at all times. If you decide to bring your camera, you must store it in one of the lockers at the base camp before starting the mule ride.

Your tour is accompanied by a professional photographer who will take pictures as you fly across the zip lines and rappel down waterfalls. These pictures will be available for purchase after the tour.

Are there restrictions?

Yes, there are some restrictions. For safety reasons, the maximum weight allowed to participate in this tour is 265 lbs. (120 kg).

The minimum age for children is 8 years old, and regardless of age, they must be at least 4 ft. tall (1.2 mt).

Participation in this tour is restricted to pregnant women and individuals with a history of seizures, vertigo, heart problems, and injuries to the back, knees, and neck.
